Reading Company 4-6-2 steam locomotive no. 213 heading westbound with the "Harrisburger" through Emmaus, Pennsylvania on April 17, 1949. The locomotive was home-built in the Reading Shops and was less than a year old when the photo was taken. This was one of the last group of Pacific-type locomotives built in the United States.
