After telling Frank Carlisle of my photo interests (and my relation by marriage to a prominent local family), I was allowed to join the crew for their daily roundtrip in August 1957. By this time they had bought an ex-Frisco caboose. I grabbed a shot from the rear platform as the 2-8-0 accelerated its train.
